Muramatsu GOLD flute...Words cannot express the beauty of this instrument...
The flute section of Aliso Niguel totally rocked the stadium during Finals Competition. The very fact that our instrument is light added to the character and color of our show with trills and the like. We may not have the beef that some of the larger instruments but we definitely have the tone quality and lively sound that some [most] miss. Those that claim that the flute section is completely useless in marching band are completely off their rockers. The flutes know that those people are insecure about their own instrument sound and therefore attempt to tear the perfect section to bits...unsuccessfully of course. We have this bit of advice to them: Get a psychiatrist and stop blaming your faults on others. GO FLUTES!
The flute section of Aliso Niguel Marching band is one of a kind. Julie Wakefield is our section leader this year and she is a great one! With her teaching and our dedicated members, the flute section is one of the BEST sections in the marching band. We always know our music and are at the rehearsals on time with no excuses.
